Here is a list of ways to be active or serve your community:
- Volunteer one day a week
- Donate to an organization that serves your community
- Serve on a board for a non-profit in your community
- If you can, shop at your locally owned businesses
- Encourage others to volunteer
- Carpool (we are going green)
- Tutor at your local schools
- Visit the elderly in your community
- Learn who your neighbors are
- VOTE!
These are ten ways that I think we can serve our community. Give me some ways that I may have overlooked.
